This category of stories is a wide as your imagination! So it could be stories rising from the group of people that you spend your time with or share much in common. Here are some suggestions below

  • Stories surrounding disability issues
  • Stories arising from those with adictions
  • The world of surburbia could provide a myriad of stories from middle England and beyond.
  • Stories from the banks of the river-the tales of a fisherman perhaps!
  • Stories from the world of sport
  • Stories from a particular generation; the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and so on.

You could simply log in and start to write. You could even record your own video story or audio story and post direct onto the site. Have a go at gathering a set of stories yourself and making them into a volume of Stories from the Street. Click here if interested. To get an idea of the type of stories we have gathered so far, have a look round the site or buy our launch book here at just £5.

As with all material featured by Stories from the Street all we ask is that your story is authentic, it dignifies both you and those who read or watch it, and through humour, courage or any of the other qualities that enrich human nature, it inspires. Maximum length for a story for the website, around 4-500 words. To submit for a book then anything from 800-5000 words. If you would prefer you can email us at info@storiesfromthestreet.com For some guidelines on how to get started click here.
